AUSTIN LAND DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE ENGINEER
Support Land Development Manager by providing strong design level services minor supportive project management. EIT and ability to obtain Texas PE license within next 12 months. Self motivated team player with excellent knowledge of Austin area commercial and/or single family development. Oversee design team production issues in manager’s absence. Responsible for preliminary engineering, drainage reports, construction documents, cost estimates, permitting coordination, and construction assistance (when required). Prior work with Austin area land development consulting firm preferred.

AUSTIN LAND DEVELOPMENT CADD DESIGNER
Drafter with AutoCAD experience. Ability to expand construction drawing needs from sketches and limited red-lined drawings to final product. Primarily plan & profile paving/drainage/utility drawings but includes all other drawings of a typical municipal or land development plan set. Take limited direction from PE or EIT and move forward on plan sets with limited supervision and oversight.

AUSTIN LAND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT MANAGER
Professional Licensed Engineer with at least 7 years of site development, residential and/or commercial experience to be responsible for all land development projects. Self motivated team player who enjoys working with people and has excellent people skills. Desire to grow small land development team to a significant player in the Austin area market. Assist in assembling a support team of design engineers and designers/drafters. Use existing relationships to identify opportunities and win assignments within the Land Development practice in the Austin area. Client marketing and maintenance, project scoping, due diligence, preparation of fee proposals, review agency coordination, and deliverables review. Good site development and single family subdivision knowledge. Organized and can plan project delivery. Oversee actions of land development design team. Good time management skills that allow you to juggle marketing, project management and production/review duties. Be visible and active as Klotz Associates’ leader in area land development issues.

Texas licensed professional engineer to support Land Development Manager by providing strong design level services minor supportive project management. Self motivated team player with knowledge of Houston area commercial and/or single family development. Oversee design team production issues in manager’s absence. Responsible for preliminary engineering, drainage reports, construction documents, cost estimates, permitting coordination, and construction assistance (when required). Prior work with Austin area land development consulting firm preferred.

HOUSTON POSITIONS

HOUSTON LAND DEVELOPMENT CADD DESIGNER
Must have land development experience in preparation of plans for subdivisions and site developments. Must have an understanding of the permitting process. 5 years experience with AutoCAD and 2 years experience with LDD2. Knowledge and use of MicroStation is a plus. Must be able to take survey data and produce base maps for background to plan and profile sheets using proper coordinates and drawing orientation. Must be able to show CADD proficiency at the interview.

Support Land Development Manager and/or Project Manager/Coordinator by providing supportive design level services. EIT required with minimum of 1 year experience preferred. Self-motivated team player. Responsible in assisting in the preparation of preliminary engineering and drainage reports, construction documents, cost estimates, and permitting coordination. Prior work with Houston area land development consulting firms preferred.

Work as part of team for preliminary engineering, drainage reports, construction documents, cost estimates, permitting coordination, and construction assistance (when required). Prior work with San Antonio area land development consulting firm preferred.
