The Gruene Road Bike Lane Project involves a 3.2-mile section of existing roadway from the Faust Street Bridge in New Braunfels, Texas to the historic Village of Gruene. This is a Texas Enhancement Program grant project between the City of New Braunfels and the Texas Department of Transportation. The scope of the project is to design, and provide construction-phase services for addition of a bike lane along existing pavement through the use of striping, stenciling, and signage. For roadway sections too narrow to support the addition of a bike lane, additional shoulder pavement will be added to accommodate the addition of a bike lane. |
