Klotz Associates served as design engineer for the Willow Waterhole element of the Brays Bayou Federal Flood Damage Reduction Project (i.e., Project Brays). The project is considered the best example of a single project addressing regional flood mitigation needs, recreation needs, and environmental needs. The project scope involved preparation of PS&E for construction of a detention basin and park amenities. The Willow Waterhole concept included design of a series of detention basin cells located on about 200 acres of undeveloped land. |
