Texas-based civil engineering firm RPS Klotz Associates has added two senior project managers to its Austin office.
Jim Patek, PE, brings more than 30 years’ engineering experience, specializing in environmental engineering, chemistry, aquatic biology, surface water hydrology, and hydraulic, hydrodynamic and environmental studies. He has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas. Mr. Patek is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Texas Floodplain Management Association, American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.
Wade Benton, PE, has more than 20 years’ experience in municipal transportation, drainage and infrastructure. He has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas and is a past president of the American Consulting Engineers Council San Antonio Chapter and current president- elect of the American Public Works Association Texas Chapter.
